NORTH COUNTRY WILD CARE TRAINING SERIES 2012 –2013
Yes, there is emergency care for wildlife, and volunteers do it all. North Country Wild Care is in search of new volunteers to help with every facet of our work, from staffing our hotline to transporting and caring for animals. Join us at our upcoming training sessions and learn what you can do to help and how to become a Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator. Classes are free of charge but donations to help support our efforts to care for distressed wildlife are greatly appreciated!
All classes will be held from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Saratoga Springs Public Library. To register for classes please contact Lisa Carpenter at 518-681-9989 or email: email@example.com
North Country Wild Care is a non-profit organization formed in 2001 to assist rehabilitators in their work. Wildlife Rehabilitators are Department of Environmental Conservation licensed volunteers who take care of injured and orphaned wildlife.
North Country Wild Care welcomes new members, those willing to assist with fundraising, public education and general organization business as well as people looking to become wildlife rehabilitators. NCWC meets as a group on the third Tuesday of each month at 7 PM at the Landmark Motor Inn off of Exit 17N at 1418 Route 9 in South Glens Falls. The Inn is approximately 1/2 mile off the exit.
